"Good Things Come to those who Wait" :-)

The “2006 Award for Surf Persistence (ASP)” goes to Miss Rosalynd Warner. After more than 1000 phantom surf forecasts at local mysto-spots including “S-Bay”, “Otter’s”, and “T-Mouth” it was the legendary “Jacob’s” that finally shattered the illusion that we NEVER get any local surf.

“The swell looked right, the wave period looked right, the wind direction looked good, the moon was in the right cycle, and with Mars in perfect alignment with Mercury the moment had surely arrived!?”.

In what scientists are describing as a phenomenon “rarer than a sighting of Halley’s Comet during a full solar eclipse” it happened.
