SANTA CREW'Z .............. The Boxing Day Santa Classic 2008
The "Santa Crew'z" Team 2008: Mark V (Santa hat) , Rob Joslin (Snowman hat) & Nathan Matthews (Rudolf hat) ....... suited up and ready to go!

With Roz behind the camera it was time for one more Xmas Surf pose (!) before 3 hrs in the water at Barricane Beach in perfect, glassy, 2-3ft surf .......... so much fun.
In we go .................................................................
You wont see this every day!! :-) ..... three Santas out back and jossling for position in the line-up. It was so much fun ...... hooting each other into waves and sharing waves for 3 hrs. Sharing one lovely long set wave with Mark V was hillarious .... going right - straight into the glaring sunlight all I could see was Mark silhouetted against the sun, charging down the line in front of me with his Santa hat flapping in the wind ..... classic memory!
After three hours only one hat made it back to the beach fully intact ....... Marks hat was victim to a set wave after about 2 hrs and was found limp and dead on the beach later in the day, Rob's hat very nearly made it through the whole 3 hr session but in the last moments gave up the fight and sank to a watery grave never to be seen again. :-) RIP
