"Super-Saturday" ..... Lucky 13 (June 09)
In the afternoon I found a "Secret Spot" (yeah right! - but i'd never seen this break working.... just 2 out, pretty rocky - but totally surfable) - one to keep an eye out for! (anyone recognise it from the pic?) :-)

I had to get up 'early doors' again to catch the right tide and peak swell but it was worth it as Puts didn't fail to deliver...... a lovely 2-3ft lined up groundswell, virtually no wind, and hardly anyone out (as it was an early session). The swell had a bit more "angle" to it that normal and the waves were consistant lefts ......... kinda 'pointbreak'ish'. Fun.
I surfed Puts for 2 hrs before the tide dropped out of it and conditions deminished. After refueling at the cafe I drove around the coast to Saunton for the afternoon session - no pics of this one but the swell picked up to a good 3-4ft and despite a slightly cross shore wind (light) it was really good. Big enough to serve up a quality 2hr 2nd surf with plenty of sun!
