Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain - and quality surf !

11th July 2009 (P-Land)

......... with the rain 'absolutely unrelentless' outside and the tide still a bit low I decided to put my feet up in the car, take shelter, wait for the peak of the swell to arrive, and for the predicted southerly offshore wind to kick in:

THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT: Get an eye-full of this! The swell picked right up and I surfed for 2.5hrs until it got pretty dark and I was totally surfed out...

BOMB!

Quality waves and a straight offshore southerly wind - v v nice!
