Spot "O" ....... "local", 1 November 2009 (CLICK ON THE PICS TO ENLARGE / VIEW!!)

You are about as likely to lay a ‘Golden Egg’ as you are to get this place this good…..!!! A massive storm had been blowing all night and conditions were perfect for this relatively ‘secret spot’ to be working. Surfing this spot involves abseiling down a very sleep, very muddy, 100ft cliff to get to the beach! ……. It’s a real gem.Roz, myself, and Gary Macdonald surfed it today, along with a handful of others out at The Point. I started off the session at the right hand point break…. a pretty remote spot with big rights that step up over the reef and offer sweet rides (or rocky wipeouts!). I caught a beauty out there – my first shot at surfing the point which was great.We then paddled over to the main beach which was equally as good serving up consistent shoulder high LONG lefts and rights ………….we had the main beach to ourselves incredibly :0)I am not going to name this spot or explain exactly where it to anyone who happens to stumble across my blog …….. “Search and yee shall find” (or not as the case may well be!!!).
