Avin It !! ......... P-Land (Sat 9 Oct 10)

This was a great groundswell at Puts ...... consitent 4ft - and with light offshores it resulted in a fantastic 2.5hr session for Mark and I at good'ole P-Land. These pics were from the start of our session straight out in front of the car park. We moved further up the beach towards Marine Drive for the second half of the session where the banks were really picking up the swell and it was pretty damn hollow. I'd say about 60% of the waves were straight handers and we both took off on a few and got a really good nailing in the inevitable close outs!! Makes you feel alive for sure :-)

Croyde at low tide on this day was totally "MENTAL" - it was a huge spring tide and the banks right on low were just insane - focusing the surf into HUGE A-Frame peaks. It looked very much like La Graviere and was easily in the 8ft range. Spitting pits..! Yikes.
