Early Session at Puts - Sunday 8 May 2011

This was another great day .......... up nice and early (5.30am) to pick up John and head up to the North Coast for the best state of tide and the early clean / offshore conditions. We timed it perfectly.

A 2 hour plus surf, coffee and bacon roll, a spot of surf shop shopping and a really good catch up with John......... followed later in the day by a few games of Play Station football with his young son Stefan (who won 2:0 in both games !) :-)

Perranporth (Going Off !) - 17 April 2011

This was a great weekend !!! .....stayed in Falmouth in a Penthouse Suit for 2 nights for Rob's wedding, some great meals out, amazing local ales, good catch up with mates, and on the morning of the wedding I headed over to Perranporth nice and early for a surf ! :-)

It was pretty large and the currents were MENTAL. It reminded me a lot of the times I have surfed reasonably sized Hossegor. There was a rip and a long-shore current making the situation pretty f'in sketchy. I was slightly concerned about getting sucked out to sea and missing the wedding to be honest :-)
