UPDATE: Down Time ! .....rubbish.

Five weeks of either being 'pre-booked' on the few occassions that the surf was good....or putting in the miles only to find (i) blown out cr*p or (ii) weak micro-waves. Aaaaaargh .....!

It's been a rubbish "gap" to be honest - On the one Saturday where the surf (esp. at Bude) was 3-4ft and cleeeean I was too hungover to surf (v rare for me as I generally avoid the booze to surf!).......and I have also made the trip up to North Devon twice on 'average' days only to find cr*p conditions. I also made the trip down to Fistral (mainly to scope out new board options) only to find that the "surf capital of Europe" was offering 1ft , 5 second period, weak cross shore rubbish .............. ideal conditions it seems for some but not me.

This dry-spell must come to an end ............ 25th and 26th June and the whole first week in July are scheduled in for SURFING in the calender. I am praying that the surf gods play ball and dish up something a little better than recently!

The 6'0" quad is de-waxed, re-waxed and ready and with most of my last 5 weeks spent putting in the lengths at the pool I am ready. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease let there be surf :-)
