Widemouth / Black Rock (15 Oct 2011) - Early Bird !

8:15am in Bude and it seems that everyone is either too lazy to get out of bed or want to watch Wales losing at rugby. Suit me !!! ........ After a beautiful drive through the Devon / Cornwall border as the rising sun burnt off the early morning mist I arrived at Widemouth to find perfect 2-3ft surf, a crisp sunny day, and just three people out as I parked up overlooking the break.

I surfed for 3 hours and at one point early on I will literally the only person surfing 2-3ft clean rights at Black Rock (!!) A fantastic day.
