K2 reading: 25ft at 17 seconds ! ....... Just too damn big :-(

Used the extra hour 'in bed' to get up early (!).......and get up to Puts for what I knew was going to be sizeable surf .....but I thought the exceptional wave period (17 seconds) may have calmed it all down a bit ............errrr - NOPE !!!I sat watching this for about half an hour considering whether paddling out with the three (only) surfers was a viable option ...........unfortunately (as you can probably tell from the pics) it wasn't. Surf denied by the sheer size for the first time in about 2 years (bit gutted, but un-drowned) ;0)
